TACO TIME BEGINS GOLF CONTEST

As part of its sponsorship of the upcoming Calgary Classic golf tournament, Taco Time Canada has begun a Club Taco Golf contest. The draw is being promoted with in-restaurant materials at the 21 Taco Time locations in Calgary. Prizes include passes to the Calgary Classic and a set of Jack Nicklaus golf clubs. "Since profits from the golf tournament go back to support local charities including the Children's Cottage Society of Calgary, a charity that Taco Time Canada supports, we thought it was a unique opportunity for us to help raise awareness of the golf event and the Children's Cottage to our Calgary customers," said Ken Pattenden, president of Taco Time Canada. The Calgary Classic will take place from Aug. 25 to 31.
