SHAW FESTIVAL SENDS MOBILE BOX OFFICES ON TOUR

The Shaw Festival and local Niagara-On-The-Lake businesses have begun a campaign aimed at consumers in Ontario and northern U.S. states. During the 20-day effort two mobile box-office vans will travel to 18 cities to sell tickets and distribute information about area tourist attractions. During each stop local media outlets will distribute promotional prizes including tickets to Shaw Festival plays, Niagara-On-The-Lake trips and wine tours. These will be provided by Vintage Inns, Peller Estates Winery and Hillebrand Winery. The vans are wrapped with bright colours, Shaw logos and images of theatre productions. They will remain on the road until Aug. 9. Public relations for the mobile campaign are being handled by Weber Shandwick Worldwide of Toronto.
