STOCKHOUSE BEGINS SURVIVAL CONTEST

Vancouver-based Stockgroup Information Systems began an online contest this week called the "StockHouse Search." Entrants must submit a 100-words- or-less description of how they survived the last three years in the stock markets. A panel of judges will choose two grand prize winners. Each will receive a trip for two to Vancouver and appear in a national advertising campaign for StockHouse. The creative for the print and online media campaign will depicts the winners in a "running with the bulls" scene. An email campaign to the approximately 450,000 registered StockHouse members is promoting the contest. Advertising on the StockHouse Web sites has also begun. Advertising for StockHouse is done in-house.
