STARBUCKS TO SPONSOR TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL

Starbucks Coffee has signed a three-year sponsorship deal to become the official coffee supplier of the Toronto International Film Festival. The agreement also includes sponsorship of the Talk Cinema series and the children's film festival Sprockets. No financial details are available. During the term of the deal, Starbucks will provide coffee at festival venues, conduct sampling and undertake in-store marketing activities. The sponsorship was brokered by Echo Advertising of Toronto, which is the agency of record for Starbucks and the film festival. The previous coffee sponsor of the festival was Second Cup. This year's Toronto International Film Festival will run from Sept. 4 to 13.
