OUTDOOR LIFE NETWORK UPDATES LOOK

Toronto-based specialty channel Outdoor Life Network has unveiled a new logo and tagline to coincide with the release of its new programming lineup. The new logo consists of the initials "OLN" in a typeface described by the company as "more classic" and "sleeker," with a maple leaf to represent the outdoors. The accompanying tagline is, "Out You Go." The logo and tagline will be used in all on-air promotion and in all external advertising. "OLN has expanded its definition of 'outdoors' to incorporate the various adventure outdoor activities in our programming lineup," said the channel's programming director, Anna Stambolic. "Our new logo, tagline, on-air presentation and enriched programming coverage builds upon OLN's identity with the great outdoors." New shows for the fall season will include Red Light Districts, which "explores the underside of cities around the world," and Urban Nights, which "captures the seedier side of urban life after dark." Outdoor Life Network is owned by Bell Globemedia.
