FUJI CAMPAIGNS ON CREATIVE POSSIBILITIES

Fuji Photo Film Canada of Mississauga began an outdoor advertising campaign in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver this week. The campaign takes the same approach as the "Open Your Eyes" campaign which began in 2001. Those ads encouraged viewers to see the photographic possibilities in every day surroundings. In the new campaign, Fuji intends to show that photography can be easy and inspiring. In one of the four ads, two babies in an unconventional pose are accompanied by the text, "Take portraits, not pictures." In another ad, a group of brightly coloured houses are shown with the caption, "The world is your gallery." The eight-week campaign also includes posters with different versions of the creative in pedestrian tunnels, on streetcars and in buses. Advertising for Fuji is done by John St. of Toronto. Public relations are handled by APEX Public Relations, also of Toronto.
