CANADA DRY, AEROPLAN READY CONTEST

Cadbury Beverages, in the name of its Canada Dry brand, and Air Canada's Aeroplan loyalty program are preparing a contest called "Escape with Canada Dry." This will be the third consecutive year the two firms have undertaken such a promotion. The contest will have two components. In the first, consumers can win 1,000,000 Aeroplan Miles by submitting an entry form. In the second, consumers can collect tokens worth 50 Aeroplan Miles each. The contest will run in Ontario and western Canada until the end of the year. A Web site at <http://www.escapewithcanadadry.com> will promote the contest, as will a 10-week radio campaign in Ontario over the summer along with in-store displays and activities. Cadbury and Aeroplan were brought together for this promotion by OptiCom Marketing Group of Oakville, ON. OptiCom has managed the contest each year and created the supporting materials.
