DELTA MOVES AD ACCOUNT IN-HOUSE

Delta Air Lines of Atlanta, GA has moved its advertising account in-house. The shift ends the airline's three and a half year relationship with its agency of record Leo Burnett. Vicki Escarra, chief marketing officer and executive vice-president of Delta, said the change will result in "cost efficiencies within our organization." Starcom Worldwide will continue to handle media buying for the airline. BrightHouse will also be used for some advertising and branding projects.
