L'OREAL READIES OMBRELLE SUN AWARENESS ACTIVITIES

Montreal-based L'Oréal Canada will begin a campaign to promote its sun protection brand Ombrelle next week with a series of activities called Sun Awareness week. These will include an Ombrelle UV Patrol, a Sun-Proof Sun-Smart school program and a new Ombrelle Web site. The UV Patrol will visit summer events in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Promotional workers will distribute sun protection advice, information and products. They will wear large bottles of sunscreen on their backs for the use of event attendees. This program is being managed by Match Marketing Group of Toronto. The Sun-Proof Sun-Smart school initiative is aimed at teachers and students in grades two and three, who receive posters, brochures, a game CD-ROM and access cards for the <http://www.sunproofsunsmart.com> Web site. The program was developed by Tag Marketing and Design of Montreal. It will begin near the end of the school year and the start of summer vacation. The new Web site at <http://www.ombrelle.com> promotes all Ombrelle products. It also contains sun facts and protection tips, a schedule of Ombrelle activities and an interactive section. It was designed by 2B Interactive of Montreal. Public relations for Ombrelle's sun awareness activities are being handled by Continental Communications of Montreal.
