THRIFTY JOINS HBC REWARDS LOYALTY PROGRAM

Toronto-based Hudson's Bay Company has added Thrifty Car Rental of Mississauga to its HBC Rewards program. Beginning on May 15, members of the loyalty program will receive 10,000 points for an eligible vehicle rental in Canada. To promote the new affiliate, the Bay will hold a draw for 25 million HBC points and five secondary prizes of five million points. Program members who rent a vehicle from Thrifty between May 15 and June 30 will be entered in the contest. The May and June circulars for Bay and Zellers stores will also promote the affiliation, as will the May HBC monthly statement, statement inserts in June, online materials at <http://www.hbc.com>, posters at Thrifty airport locations, print advertising in WestJet's in-flight magazine and point-of-sale materials at Thrifty locations.
