Markham, Ont-based Toshiba of Canada is putting five new notebook computers on the market. The T2130CS and T2130CT are the latest models in the Satellite family. In stores this week, the machines use the 486DX4 microprocessor running at 75 Mhz. The two models each use the same hardware and software, but have different display technology. The 400CS and 400CDT, which will be available in July, are new additions to the Satellite family. They feature a 75 Mhz Intel Pentium processor, a floppy disk drive interchangeable with a quad-speed CD-ROM drive. The Protégé line will have a new machine in July called the 610CT. It weighs four pounds, and has a 90 Mhz Pentium processor. Toshiba may advertise the new computers in the future, but there are no plans formulated yet because the company is in the middle of an agency review.
