UPS INTRODUCES NEW LOOK

UPS unveiled a new look yesterday. The package delivery company used Futurebrand of New York for the work, which includes a re-designed logo and the tagline "Synchronizing the World of Commerce." Brown remains the company's primary colour, but other colours will now be used as well. The new look will be used on the company's 88,000 vehicles, 257 aircraft, 1,700 facilities, 70,000 drop-off and retail access points, one million uniforms and its packages. New advertising using the "synchronizing commerce" theme has also been created. In Canada the campaign will include two television commercials and a national print campaign. Advertising for UPS is created by The Martin Agency of Richmond, VA. Adaptation of the creative for Canada was done by MacLaren McCann of Toronto. According to UPS, the look reflects the broadening of its capabilities in recent years as its expanded and introduced new supply chain services. In Canada public relations for UPS are handled by Edelman.
