BUDGET RENT A CAR HIRES MCCANN-ERICKSON

McCann-Erickson New York has picked up the advertising account of Budget Rent A Car of Lisle, IL. An unknown number of agencies participated in a review for the business, the value of which is unknown. Budget is owned by Cendant, which also owns the Avis Rent A Car business of Parsippany, NJ. McCann has worked on the Avis account since 1999. Separate account and creative staffs in McCann's New York branch will handle the Budget and Avis accounts.
