CFL AND CBC REACH NEW DEAL

The Canadian Football League and CBC have reached a new five-year broadcast deal. The agreement is in conjunction with TSN, which recently reached a broadcast deal of its own with the league. The CBC deal includes 26 games per season for the next five seasons, beginning June 21. The CFL on CBC will air on Saturday nights in June, July and August. In September, October and November the broadcasts will move to Saturday afternoons. The network will also air a 30-minute pre-game show each week. CBC has been broadcasting CFL games for over fifty years.
