ALLIANCE ATLANTIS APPOINTS LAYFIELD SENIOR VICE-PRESIDENT

Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting has appointed Kirstine Layfield senior vice-president of programming. Layfield will program Discovery Health Channel, Food Network Canada, Home and Garden Television and Life Network. Most recently Layfield was group publisher of entertainment trade publications Playback, Kidscreen and Realscreen.
