MINDSHARE IMPLEMENTS DAREDEVIL POSTER DISPLAY

MindShare Canada of Toronto has implemented a movie poster display for Twentieth Century Fox Film's new movie "Daredevil." The display is running on the three units of the media tower at the Toronto Eaton Centre. The variably-sized units all display the same creative: the image of two characters from the film set against a city's skyline at night with a full moon. The three boards include a 60 x 60 foot circular frontlit poster, a 40 x 40 foot backlit poster and a 20 x 40 foot backlit poster. The display was installed during the week of Jan. 20. It will run for four weeks. Other promotion for the film includes additional out-of-home, radio and television advertising, according to Carrie Hurd, group media director at Mindshare Canada. Advertising for Twentieth Century Fox Film is handled in-house. Sales and marketing for the media tower are handled by Clear Channel Outdoor of Toronto. The film will be released on Feb. 14.
