DUNKIN' DONUTS HOLDS HAPPY HOUR PROMOTION

Dunkin' Donuts has instituted a new loyalty card promotion in Quebec called "Café 5 à 7" (Happy Hour). Customers who purchase five coffees of any size will receive two free 10 oz coffees. A television and print advertising campaign created by Palm Publicité Marketing of Montreal is promoting the program. The campaign's creative makes use of the idea of the Happy Hour. Two 15-second commercials are running during "Caméra Café," of which Dunkin' Donuts is a sponsor, as well as during other programs. A print ad and insert has been placed in major daily newspapers and the magazine 7 Jours. The advertising will run until the end of February, supported by in-store materials in the chain's approximately 140 Quebec locations.
