FORD AND CHATELAINE HOST CAR SMARTS SEMINARS

Ford Motor Company of Canada and Chatelaine magazine will hold a series of seminars at the Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto. Four Car Smarts seminars covering vehicle safety, maintenance and finance will run each day for two weekends: Feb. 14 to 16 and Feb. 21 to 23. Consumers who register for the seminars at <http://www.fordcarsmartsautoshow.com> will be sent a $5 admission discount for the show. At the seminar consumers will receive a gift bag, spa products and an invitation to a Ford Test Drive. At each seminar one person will win a $400 Spa Package gift certificate from the Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto. Attendants will also be entered into a draw for a two-year lease on a 2003 Ford Focus ZX5. The seminars are being promoted in the February issues of Chatelaine, Today's Parent and Flare magazines. Additional marketing support includes banner ads on each publication's Web site, email advertising, radio promotion, which will begin on Jan. 30 on CHFI and 680 News, and posters at the AutoShow. The Car Smarts program and its promotional support were developed by the Rogers Women's Group marketing staff.
