CRITICAL MASS LANDS LAS VEGAS PROJECT

Calgary-based Critical Mass recently completed a Web assignment for The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Critical Mass was hired for the project without a review by Las Vegas-based R&R Partners, which has worked the the authority for approximately 25 years. The assignment was the creation of two new sites for the organization, a consumer site at <http://www.vegasfreedom.com> and a business site at <http://www.lvcva.com>. Both launched last week. A previous site at Vegasfreedom.com was aimed at both audiences. The new sites are the online marketing presence for Las Vegas, intended to complement the city's 2003 "Vegas Stories" advertising campaign. The consumer site provides information to help visitors plan a trip to the city. The business site offers information for trade show producers, meeting planners, member of the media and travel agents and wholesalers.
