LABATT CONDUCTS RESPONSIBLE USE HOLIDAY TOUR

Labatt Breweries of Canada has begun a holiday responsible use tour in Montreal that will run until Dec. 21. The initiative is intended to encourage the naming of a designated driver and to demystify the Breathalyzer test. The tour will visit 22 bars in the city. Two promotional workers will greet patrons as they enter the bar and encourage the selection of a designated driver. Customers who agree to be drivers will receive T-shirts reading, "Great Party! Why miss the end?" Promotional workers will also mingle with customers to explain the Breathalyzer test. Customer who take the test will receive $10 taxi vouchers. The tour, organized by Quartier General of Montreal, will also visit various events through 2003. Public relations are being handled by Etoile du Nord of Montreal.
