CHILD FIND ONTARIO SIGNS SPONSOR FOR BABY ID PROGRAM

Child Find Ontario has signed a $25,000 sponsorship agreement with Toronto-based Global Educational Marketing for its Baby ID program. The Oakville, ON-based missing children agency will use the funds to produce and distribute program booklets called "All About Me" to new parents in 55 Ontario hospitals beginning next month. The "All About Me" program is a year-long initiative that Child Find undertakes each January. The booklets, designed by Brann Worldwide of Toronto, record information about infants such as photographs and footprints that can be used by authorities to identify missing children. Andrea Grimm-Flynn, manager of development for Child Find Ontario, said the agency is currently in talks with other companies and hopes to sign additional program sponsors. Global Educational Marketing distributes the Global Educational Trust Plan, which is aimed at families that want to save funds for their children's post secondary education.
