COPASETIC CUSTOM CLOTHING BEGINS NO SWEAT CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Copasetic Custom Clothing of Vancouver will break its first branding campaign this month. The ads will be distributed through an email campaign first, then in 30- and 60-second formats on Sex TV and Fashion Television later this month. According to art director and co-writer Sam Cerullo, "Both spots share a common insight, an underlying truth. Anything can happen, so be prepared to deal with it." In the first ad, called "Italian Lovers," a daughter introduces her same-sex partner to her Italian family. In the second ad, called "Chinese Toys," a mother agrees to reveal an ancient secret to her teenage daughter if the daughter promises to abstain until marriage. The tagline "No Sweat. Bone Dry Wear," the name "Cospasetic Custom Clothing" and the firm's logo are included in both ads. The advertising was created by Cerullo and creative director Marc Stoiber and produced by The Park City Film Company. Radio and print executions for Copasetic are also in development.
