BELL CANADA, SYMPATICO.CA TO WEBCAST MORISSETTE CONCERT

Bell Canada and Sympatico.ca will offer customers of the Bell Sympatico High Speed Internet service a free webcast of an Alanis Morissette concert. Bell Canada described the event as as a "holiday thank you" to its customers. Sympatico.ca will use the concert to introduce its new "Virtual Stadium" which combines high-speed Internet access with technical capabilities such as online ticketing and traffic segmenting. The webcast will take place on Dec. 15 at <http://www.alanis.sympatico.ca>. It is being promoted with a five-week marketing campaign consisting of online advertising, email to high speed subscribers and newsletters to Sympatico.ca users. The concert microsite also offers music videos, information about the musician and a contest in which users can win tickets to the live shows in Toronto on Dec. 12 and in Chicago on Dec. 14. The prize also includes air transportation, a hotel stay and $1,000. The microsite, contest and newsletters were developed by Sympatico.ca. The email campaign and banner ads were created by Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto.
