AXMITH MCINTYRE WICHT WINS BOOM-AD CONTEST

Axmith McIntyre Wicht has won a Boom-Ad contest held by Abcon Media of Toronto. The contest invited employees of Canadian advertising agencies to develop creative for parking gate sleeves. The winning entry was for The Mercedes-Benz Toronto Area Retail Group. The ad displays the text, "Drive up close and get that Mercedes Feeling." The Mercedes logo is positioned on the boom to give the impression that it is on the hood of the car at the gate. The parking gate sleeves offer 3.33 square feet of oval-shaped advertising space. The winning ad will run for four weeks in five parking garages in downtown Toronto.
