VISA HOLDS WIN WHAT YOU BUY CONTEST

Visa Canada began a contest on Nov. 1 called "Win What You Buy." The national promotion will run until Dec. 31. Customers are entered when they pay for a purchase using a Visa card. For each day of the contest one winner will receive the price of the purchases they made between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, in the form of a credit applied to the winner's Visa account. A random draw will be held on Feb. 11, 2003 to determine the 61 winners. Visa is promoting the contest with a 30-second television commercial created by Leo Burnett. The ad will run nationally in English and French for the duration of the contest. Additional marketing support includes radio advertising in western Canada, online advertising and statement inserts. The inserts also promote various online holiday offers available to Visa customers.
