MINI CANADA PICKS INVESTIGATORS

Mini Canada has chosen the three Canadian "investigators" that will participate in the Mission Mini promotional campaign: Christine Atallah of Montreal, Raymond Ludwin of Toronto and Tosh Fujito of Vancouver. The Canadian contingent's celebrity investigator will be speed skater Marc Gagnon. During the Mission Mini campaign, contestants from 17 countries will travel to Barcelona, Spain to investigate a fictional case of stolen artwork. Between Nov. 7 and Nov. 11, they will travel Barcelona in Mini Cooper S cars displaying their national flags on the roofs. According to the campaign's backstory, a private investigator has been called in to track artwork stolen from a gallery. The investigator brings in the various international groups to assist in solving the case. The Mission Mini campaign has a promotional Web site at <http://www.mini.ca>. Advertising for the campaign in Canada is being done by Toronto-based Taxi. A global public relations program by Ketchum Public Relations also supports the initiative.
