By Adnews Staff
Beauty and skincare product company Revlon has begun a global marketing campaign to promote its new cosmetics collection and its sponsorship of the upcoming James Bond film Die Another Day. The initiative, created by Deutsch Inc., includes print and television advertising, in-store materials, a consumer promotion and a special area at the Revlon.com Web site. The company's 007 Color Collection consists of products for the eyes, cheeks, lips and nails as well as a new perfume. Revlon spokesperson and actress Halle Berry, who appears in the film, is featured in the campaign along with actress Rosamund Pike, who is also in the film. Print advertising will break in the November issues of consumer and fashion magazines. Television advertising began in the U.S. on Monday and will start in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Italy and Taiwan when the film opens. Seven different in-store displays were distributed to drugstores and retailers in mid-October. The consumer promotion, a contest called "Win Your Own Bond Girl Adventure," was created by Kobin Enterprises. It began on Oct. 15 and will run until Jan. 15, 2003.
