LABATT EXTENDS SPONSORSHIP OF NFL

Labatt Breweries of Canada has extended its sponsorship of the National Football League for an additional four years. As a result Labatt's Budweiser brand will remain the offical beer sponsor of the NFL in Canada. The extention will also allow Labatt to continue to use the NFL logos and the logos of the 32 NFL teams in its advertising and promotions. The brewer also receives designation as the exclusive beer advertiser on NFL games televised by Canadian broadcasters and will continue to participate in the Budwesier/NFL Campus Flag program. "The NFL is a natural fit for Budweiser and Bud Light in Canada," said Charles Oliver, commercial vice-president of Labatt. "We're eager to continue to work together to develop entertaining programs that delight beer drinkers and raise the level of interest in the game." Labatt is the NFL's longest standing international commercial partner. The brewer first sponsored the league in 1985.
