JPI PICKS THE COMMUNICATIONS GROUP FOR CANADIAN PR

JPI of Dallas, TX, has hired The Communications Group of Toronto to handle its Canadian public relations. JPI is a rental development company. It operates a 424-unit high rise in downtown Toronto. A 206-unit building is currently under construction. Kathy Kinnear, area managing partner of JPI's Toronto office, said the Canadian operation is the company's first business venture outside the U.S. The Communications Group will promote the company in the country. It won the account following a review that also examined three other unknown agencies. "I've worked with TCG on other assignments in Toronto and they know how to get things done," said Kinnear.
