COALITION PROMOTES BENEFITS OF BREASTFEEDING
By Adnews Staff
The Infact Feeding Action Coalition Canada is preparing a poster campaign to communicate the benefits of breastfeeding. Toronto-based Infact is a national not-for-profit organization that promotes breastfeeding. The four posters in the campaign were created by one company of Toronto. Each focuses on a specific benefit of breastfeeding. The creative shows images of babies at breasts along with the headlines "Oncology 101," "Neurology 101," "Dentistry 101," and "Respiralogy 101." According to the ads, breastfeeding reduces the incidence of cancer in mother and child, raises IQ levels, reduces the risk of tooth decay and lessens the risk of allergies, asthma and respiratory infections. The posters are being distributed to maternity clinics, hospitals and doctors nationally.
