BC DAIRY FOUNDATION BEGINS INFORMATION EFFORT
By Adnews Staff
The BC Dairy Foundation began a five-week public information campaign on Monday with the start of a contest intended to increase milk consumption among teens. Television, radio and online advertising as well as a new Web site are promoting the contest, which involves 250 ml and 500 ml cow-spotted milk cartons. Consumers win if their cartons make a "moo" sound when opened. Prizes include cars, DVD players and ski passes. The advertising and the <http://www.mooyouwinbc.ca> Web site were created by Palmer Jarvis DDB of Vancouver. The public information campaign also includes a forum on nutrition issues for youth for BC health professionals. This event will take place tomorrow.
