CANADIAN TIRE PETROLEUM RE-BRANDING INITIATIVE EXPANDS
By Adnews Staff
Canadian Tire Petroleum has expanded the re-branding initiative it began this month. The aim of the program is to increase the number of stations Canadian Tire operates by building new sites and by re-branding existing sites of other gasoline retailers. Under a new agreement with Alimentation Couche-Tard, Canadian Tire will re-brand four Couche-Tard gas stations as Canadian Tire locations. Couche-Tard will re-brand four existing Canadian Tire convenience store sites as Couche-Tard locations. The eight sites are in western Quebec and Ontario. Two more gas stations and two more convenience stores in Ontario will be swapped at a later date. In a separate deal reached earlier this month with Imperial Oil, Canadian Tire will convert three Esso stations in Quebec to Canadian Tire stations this fall.
