MUCHMUSIC QUICKIES WIN GUINNESS WORLD RECORD

A series of ads aired on MuchMusic of Toronto have been named the shortest television commercials by Guinness World Records. The "Quickies" were created by MuchMusic producer and editor Tharanga Ramanayake. Each is 1/60th of a second long and takes up a half-frame of tapem, according to the station. Twelve "Quickies" have been created, each displaying the MuchMusic logo and playing a sound. They began running in January.
