MASTERCARD SIGNS CASSIE CAMPBELL AS SPOKESPERSON

Cassie Campbell, captain of Canada's Olympic women's hockey team, has been signed as spokesperson for MasterCard Canada. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Campbell will appear in MasterCard advertising and make appearances in Canada. She participated in her first event yesterday, playing in the Stars for Skates celebrity hockey game. The game launched MasterCard's annual hockey equipment drive, during which previously-owned children's hockey equipment is collected for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. Advertising for MasterCard is done by McCann-Erickson. Public relations are handled by Environcs Communications.
