QUEBEC MILK PRODUCERS BREAK NEW ADVERTISING
By Adnews Staff
Quebec Milk Producers and its agency BBDO Montreal have released a new fall advertising campaign. Television advertising began in Quebec on Monday. A 60-second commercial makes use of the song "Quand les hommes vivront d'amour" by Raymond Lévesque, while a 30-second spot makes use of the song "Que reste-t-il de nos amours" by Charles Trenet. Both ads promote white milk. A 30-second version of the 60-second commercial has also been created to run in English Canada. This ad uses the song "What the world needs now is love" by Jackie DeShannon. The organization is also advertising chocolate milk on television for the first time in this campaign. A 30-second ad shows a boy attempting a seduction using chocolate milk. The television advertising is being supported with six new magazine ads for white milk that will run through the fall, as well as outdoor advertising and magazine ads for chocolate milk. Outdoor ads posted on bus shelters and OMNI stands will be used through October and November, while magazine ads promoting the nutritional benefits of chocolate milk will run in December.
