CANADIAN TIRE PETROLEUM BEGINS RE-BRANDING INITIATIVE
By Adnews Staff
Canadian Tire Petroleum, a division of Canadian Tire Corp., is beginning a re-branding program during which three Esso stations will be converted to Canadian Tire locations. Canadian Tire has reached an agreement with Imperial Oil to convert three Esso stations in Quebec to Canadian Tire stations this fall. These stations will continue to be owned by Imperial Oil but will be operated by Canadian Tire. The re-branding is part of an initiative by Canadian Tire Petroleum to increase the number of stations which Canadian Tire operates during the next five years. The increase will be accomplished by building new sites and re-branding the existing sites of other gasoline retailers.
