PUBLISHER PUT OUT OF BUSINESS
By Adnews Staff
Issues for Canada's Future of Toronto has locked its doors. The publishing company went out of business after its bank account was seized. It owes over $600,000, mainly to shareholders and suppliers, and has no assets or money to pay its creditors. Since last May the company has attempted to find investors and tried to get financial assistance from the Business Development Bank of Canada, but neither move panned out. Issues was publishing Ways magazine, which dealt with managing change in organizations, and Money Issues, with focused on personal finances. Ways was available five times a year and had a circulation of 30,000. Money Issues was a bimonthly magazine with 50,000 copies available at newsstands across Canada. At one time Issues had also published ReLocation Toronto and single subject supplements distributed across Canada in daily newspapers.
