DAYS INNS PROMOTES PICTURE PERFECT STAY

Toronto-based hotel chain Days Inns - Canada will begin a promotion called "Picture Perfect Stay" on Sept. 30. Guests who stay for four nights will receive a Fujifilm QuickSnap Flash recyclable camera and free photo finishing at Black's/Astral Photography. Guests who stay nine nights will receive a 10th night free. Guests who stay 12 nights will receive a Fujifilm Zoom 60 35mm compact camera. "This promotion is designed to not only reward our frequent guests for their business, it is also intended to send out a message to corporate Canada that Days Inn offers a picture perfect office away from the office," said Melissa Evans, vice-president of marketing, Days Inns - Canada. The promotion will run until April 30. Days Inn has approximately 80 properties in Canada. A print ad in Contact, the Canadian Professional Sales Association's magazine, and direct mail to members of the association will support the promotion. The chain will also provide individual locations with a customized print ad for the promotion. Separately, Days Inns - Canada will re-run its 30-second image spot called "The Affair" this fall. The commercial was created by Pirate Radio & Television. In it, a woman and two private investigators burst into a hotel room. Her husband lies on the bed in his boxer shorts. He says, "I just love the room."
