CFL STAYS WITH AMERICA ONE

America One Television Network will remain the U.S. distributor of the Canadian Football League's games for a second year. The games will be broadcast on the America One, Fox Sports World, Sunshine and YES networks beginning Sept. 2. A total of 13 weekly games, four playoff games and the Grey Cup championship will be aired. "We are extraordinarily pleases to expand our broadcast presence in the United States through our continued partnership with American One," said Brent Scrimshaw, senior vice-president of marketing for the CFL. "Showcasing the CFL to 50 million U.S. households is an increasingly important aspect of the League's growth strategy." American One is a subsidiary of USFR Media Group, based in Houston, TX.
