By Adnews Staff
The Global Television Network will begin a 12-week outdoor campaign on Monday. The advertising will run on Toronto-based Gallop & Gallop's backlit posters located in the tunnels at Bay and York Street and at the bottom of Yonge Street in Toronto. The first phase of the campaign will run until Oct. 6. Nine ads will promote the war series "Band of Brothers." The creative shows soldiers in the background along with headlines such as "Band of Brothers," "An Epic Story," "Courage," "Sacrifice" and "Global Sundays." The second phase of the campaign will begin on Oct. 6, promoting returning programs such as "24," "Fear Factor," "The Practice," "JAG," "Will & Grace," "That '70s Show" and "Friends." According to Global's advertising co-ordinator Sharon Campbell, the campaign is the first from the network to use these tunnel posters. The advertising was created in-house by Global.
