Prizes include 30 Toyota vehicles, 800 Nintendo GameCubes, ten $100,000 cash prizes, 20 $10,000 cash prizes, 18 Toshiba plasma panel displays and approximately 1.9 million McDonald's food prizes. "At McDonald's, we are very proud that our customers love our traditional menu, including our popular Big Mac sandwich, which continues to be a favourite among Canadians," said Bill Johnson, president and CEO of McDonald's Restaurants of Canada. "The 'Build a Big Mac Game' is a fun and exciting way to thank our Canadian customers for their continued support and to celebrate the success of a McDonald's icon, the Big Mac." National television and radio advertising for the game is running nationally in English and French. The advertising, created by Cossette Communication-Marketing, is being supported with in-restaurant materials. Public relations for McDonald's are handled by Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
