LABATT SECURES NAMING RIGHTS FOR LONDON ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS CENTRE

Labatt Breweries of Ontario has signed a ten-year agreement with the City of London and arena management company Global Spectrum for the naming rights to the city's new entertainment and sports facility. The John Labatt Centre will be the home of the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights when its opens in October. The $45 million venue contains three levels of public and premium seating with a capacity of 2,800 for theatre productions, 9,100 for hockey games and 10,000 for concert performances. The John Labatt Centre name and logo will appear on the outside of the building, inside at centre ice, on the scoreboard, the Web site and on all venue and London Knight materials such as game programs, tickets, schedules, media guides, print ads and television spots. Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.
