ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS AWARDS ACCUSOFT ACCOUNT TO ALLARD JOHNSON

The diabetes care division of Roche Diagnostics of Laval, PQ has awarded its Accusoft account to Allard Johnson Communications. The Montreal agency will be responsible for advertising creative and media planning for the glucose testing product. It received the account following a six-agency competition. According to Mario Daigle, vice-president and general manager of Allard Johnson's wellness division, Roche Diagnostics previously used various agencies on a project basis, but has decided to consolidate the work with two agencies. Daigle said a second agency will handle the company's Accu-Chek brand. According to Michel Robidoux, director of marketing for Roche Diagnostics, Allard Johnson was hired because of its integrated services, agency depth and its healthcare and consumer experience.
