KREMEKO PICKS QUEBEC PR AGENCY

KremeKo Inc. of Markham, ON has hired Massy Forget of Montreal as its public relations agency in Quebec. The company also considered Communications Mecca for the assignment, according to KremeKo's vice-president of marketing and communications Judi Richardson. The company's lead public relations agency is The Wilcox Group of Vancouver. In Toronto KremeKo uses Edelman Public Relations. Prior to the opening of its first location, KremeKo appointed Taxi Advertising of Toronto its agency of record. Since that time the company has also begun using Square Peg of Toronto. Last year KremeKo received development rights to open Krispy Kreme doughnut stores in Canada from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Corp. of Winston-Salem, NC. The first store opened in Mississauga that year. Additional Ontario locations in Richmond Hill, Kitchener and Windsor will open this fall. KremeKo plans to open 32 locations in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada over the next six years.
