BMO MUTUAL FUNDS AND DELL BEGIN BACK-TO-SCHOOL INITIATIVE

BMO Mutual Funds and Dell Canada will award ten Canadians grants of $10,000 in a back-to-school contest. According to Linda Knight, vice-president of BMO Mutual Funds, the contest is in support of the company's registered education savings plan BMO Intuition, which encourages families to save for their children's educations. The ten prizes will be paid into a new or existing BMO Intuition RESP or other BMO Mutual Funds account. The contest will run nationally, excluding Quebec, until Sept. 21. Print advertising promoting the contest will run bi-weekly in The Globe and Mail from Aug. 1 to Aug. 22. Three free standing inserts distributed in daily Canadian newspapers will also promote the contest, as will banners ads at Dell's consumer online store and several BMO mutual fund Web sites. The contest is also being promoted through BMO customer's August statements and in three Dell email updates to customers. Public relations for Dell are handled by GCI Group. Public relations for BMO Mutual Funds are handled by APEX Public Relations.
