CHATTEM CREATES CRYSTAL BALL GAME

Chattem of Mississauga is promoting a new line of acne products with print advertising, online banner ads and an email campaign. The Clear Confidence products, which are part of the company's phisoderm line, include a facial cleanser, a body wash and a five minute acne mask. The print ads created by Toronto-based Zoggen are aimed to teenagers. The email campaign, created by Dashboard of Toronto, involves an interactive fortune-telling game called the Clear Confidence Crystal Ball. A character named Madame See See predicts the futures of players. Answers to various questions are held in a pre-defined database and presented visually and through a recorded voice. An online banner campaign, also by Dashboard, will direct viewers to the game at <http://www.chattem.ca>. Once at the site, users will be encouraged to recommend the game to friends by email. Media planning and buying for Clear Confidence is done by McIlroy & King Communications of Toronto.
