BACARDI BEGINS RETAIL PROMOTION

Bacardi Canada of Brampton, ON began a contest called "Win right off the Bat" at Ontario LCBO retail outlets today. The promotion was created by Toronto-based jib media, which received the assignment following a review that also examined three additional unknown agencies. The contest entrants can instantly win one of three home theatre packages by looking under the cap of specially marked bottles of Bacardi White, Dark and Gold Rum. The contest is being promoted by print advertising, also created by jib, in the summer issue of Food and Drink magazine. The contest will run until Sept. 30.
