UPS ASSIGNS ADDITIONAL BUSINESS TO MACLAREN MCCANN

United Parcel Service Canada of Mississauga has awarded its mass advertising and media business to MacLaren McCann Canada. The appointment was made without a review. MacLaren McCann Relationship Marketing has been handling UPS' direct marketing since 2000. "We are thrilled to build on our successful partnership with MMRM and bring together the advertising and media expertise of MacLaren McCann and M2 Universal," said Joseph Tavares, vice-president of marketing at UPS Canada. "Working closely with the agency's integrated team, UPS Canada has a unique opportunity to align marketing initiatives with one strategic partner and leverage existing account knowledge to develop new and innovative communications programs." Previously UPS used Ammirati Puris of Toronto.
