COMEDY NETWORK, BELL EXPRESSVU HOLD SIMPSONS CONTEST

The Comedy Network and Bell ExpressVu have begun a contest called the "Evolution of the Simpsons." It will run until July 14. Viewers are invited to vote online at <http://www.thecomedynetwork.ca> or by mail for their favourite episodes from the first 12 seasons of the animated television series "The Simpsons." By voting viewers are automatically entered in a draw for a Bell ExpressVu Personal Video Recorder and a 32-inch Sony Wega television. Three 60-second and two 30-second promotional spots for the contest are running on The Comedy Network, TSN and Discovery Channel. The 60-second ads each highlight a different feature of Bell ExpressVu's PVR. The 30-second ads focus on the contest. Beginning July 15 The Comedy Network will air the most popular episodes, as determined by the votes, over 12 consecutive nights. The promotional spots were created in-house.
