SIX FIRMS ON SHORTLIST FOR ONTARIO TOURISM ACCOUNT

The Ontario Advertising Review Board has put six agencies on the shortlist for the Tourism Marketing Partnership Corp.'s domestic and international activities: BBDO, Palmer Jarvis DDB, Young & Rubicam, FCB Toronto, Axmith McIntyre Wicht and Publicis. The board is searching for one agency to handle the account. Previously the domestic portion was handled by Axmith McIntyre Wicht and the international portion by BBDO. Presentations will take place on July 4. A decision is expected later in the month. The Tourism Marketing Partnership is also searching for an agency to design and produce its publications. According to the organization, submissions have just been received by the Advertising Review Board and a shortlist is expected by mid-July.
